7 SMASH-ilicious Recipes


SMASH fish (sardines, mackerel, anchovies, salmon, and herring) are enormously nutritious, sustainable, cost-effective, and shelf-stable if they're canned. But if you don’t like to eat them straight outta the can, here are some ideas to spice 'em up!

This is similar to fritters except that it includes potatoes. This recipe calls for breadcrumbs which you can simply omit if you're avoiding gluten.
